Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound

Beautiful photos, Rosie! Even more amazing when you realize they were taken 1,810 years ago! (sorry Rosie, couldn't resist)

According to a tv prog I saw recently, we're very likely to see this in more southern locations from now on due to fluctuations in the Earth's magnetic field. In short we're half way through a polar flip.

Incredible pictures Rosie, I just love them. Thanks for posting them. Allow me to post this recent image of Saturn which Ang25 recently sent me taken with the Cassini-Huygens spacecraft as it flew around the backside of the planet.

I guess you could say that's one of the most spectacular views of the Earth ever.

I love that picture, you can see it quite often on various current Discovery progs.
