Subject: Can PPro 2010 and PPro 2012 Co-Exist ?

mathman ( ) posted Wed, 21 September 2011 at 8:06 AM · edited Wed, 13 November 2024 at 8:47 PM

Hi,

While I am waiting for the PPro 2012 monster files to download (yawn), I thought I might find out whether you can have both PPro 2010 and PPro 2012 on your machine at the same time ? ... or should I uninstall 2010 first?

I can't see any real reson to have both of them on the machine at the same time, however I don't want to lose any 2010 content.

Thanks for your feedback.

regards,
Andrew

As with all other versions, it should technically load into it's own, separate folder.

PP2012 installs next to PP2010.
The runtime installs next to the PP2010 Runtime.

All prefernces can be reconfigured seperadly.
They do not have an impact/influence on the onther version.
You can link both runtimes to both versions if you want to. (or any other runtime )
