EVERYONE here knows how much I have loathed GC ever since it came out (and I never could get any good results with it.)
Well, the mark of intelligence is the ability to change one's mind when new situations come into play.
I've changed my mind.
I don't know if there were changes to the implementation in PP2012, or if it's a little utility under the "Partners" tab under scripts called "Image Gamma," but SOMETHING sure has changed.
Just as a test, I applied that script to my test PZ3 scene and re-rendered it. Imagine my surprise when it worked! The scene is well balanced and nicely lit without all of the colors washing out as has been my complaint heretofore. I think I might actually LIKE GC since it nows seems to work in my runtimes the way I expect it to.
Don't know who wrote that script, but kudos to them!
