I'm just wondering how I get it back in Poser 6.

For an actual material? You might need to scrollbar navigate to it - sometimes it tends to disappear off to the left or whatever...

Thanks, I was able to figure it out.  This is what I had but if I click the first little icon, the one beside the eye at the top of PoserSurface, this brings everything back.
