There are gaps in the tree trunks in my rendering. How do I fix it?

enter the treelab then go into the materials lab from their and change the mapping mode on the tree tree.

I tried a few different mapping modes and nothing worked. Here is an image of my problem.

!! I just had that myself - could not figure it out and had to replace the tree. But, I only had one that was doing it, not many... I ended up duplicating an existing tree to replace the "odd one" TomD

That is a strange problem, but did you notice the goofy curves in the up close view of Bryce 5 tree trunks? I have been all over the message boards trying to find a fix. Some have said they did not notice it (You can't miss it!) To me it makes an up close view useless. Any ideas? Thanks; Paul Oksnee
