Subject: Looking for female archer

Velvetdream ( ) posted Thu, 23 August 2001 at 6:41 PM · edited Sun, 03 November 2024 at 12:00 AM

I have found some very nice free character files on the net but none of them are female archers! I play an archer on Asheron's Call and looking for all kinds of 3D bows, armor and equipment to use for a new pic I want to make as a signature file for AC message boards that I frequent. Also looking for some better mage robes than what I've found so far. There seems to be more superhero characters than RPG. Any links to RPG/Poser sites would be most appreciative.

Try PoserGamers: [Posergamers](http://www.3d-cc.com/posergamers/) Also try: [Konan's Site](http://www.ev.ca/konan/Dragon/Downloads.html)

Been to Posergamers already. ;) No archers there.

The other site has an archer but the bow is not separate from the character. And the character is not human. Asheron's Call characters are human based, unlike the fantasy creatures in Everquest.

What about the chick on the left in this image: 006b.jpg Its just the poser3 nude woman with a face mask and a bow.. now....the bow is called UVBow..I got it off a forum about 2 year ago..but I forget who made it. -LW

That bow would work actually. I like this pic and the ranger outfit she has on. Two years ago? Well I'm sure it's going to be hard to find that one again. Most of the links for the downloads here are broken. What a pain in the arse. hehe ;)

Actually, any elf archer might do because you can just morph the elf features away, right?

There are bows and arrows at the Japanese sites. Check Digitalbabes (to the right) and follow his links to the others. For clothing, I'd suggest getting DAZ's Costume Shop CD which had a tunic, sash and moccasins, among a lot of other goodies. Find a nice P4 female texture without makeup, and paint the legs woodsy green for leggings (or use the female catsuit). Slap the tunic and shoes on her, and you're set. I think there are suitable caps in freestuff, one was called "elf cap", if you feel the need for headgear. Carolly

I dont know if this helps but Daz3D has got an Archery Pak Code: ps_ac020 Price: $9.95 They have got 30% off at the moment, could be worth a look. They also have a MW or P4 Period Gown one of the settings is for a woodland dress, this looks quite good as an archer. P4 Period Gown Code: ps_ac061b Price: $24.95 Hope this helps http://store.daz3d.com/store/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=ZP1&Category_Code=ps_co
