Subject: firework ideas

i dunno..just dunno. i need to make diwali cards.. (hindu new year. festival of lights).. and images that are symbolic with it are fireworks, diyas (tiny oil lamps in clay pots), milky sweet dishes.. and ganesh (the elephant god). i'm pretty much the most unhindu hindu you can ever find..so ganesh is out of it. sweet dishes? think squares of pink, green and white drizzled with nuts and extremely thin silver (real) leaf..and an image of that? my tummy aches just thinking about it. diyas? been using that so often.. even creating water butterflies with the feelers as a flame, lotus with a flame in the middle, etc.

i've done stuff completely photoshopped.. or 3d and photoshopped.

fireworks are the only things i haven't done.. any ideas? Most of the brushes I see are a bit unreal.. though this one looks cool.. http://doac-res.deviantart.com/art/Firework-Brushes-19240690 .. but it's all about colours here.. (and noise)..rather than black and white..

and just fireworks in the sky? isn't that a bit boring?

i so dunno..

suggestions? need to do it as fast as possible..

cheers and thanks ..
