Subject: Camera Dipping Problem In Animation

zonkerman ( ) posted Sat, 01 October 2011 at 11:26 AM · edited Sat, 03 August 2024 at 3:26 AM

Hello everyone.
I am trying to animate a camera to travel along a straight path from one point to another in my scene. My scene has a somewhat uneven surface with a few dips and hills. The problem is that my camera keeps droping down on the dips. I want it to stay straight as if to fly over the area. The camera is about tree height off the ground. I tried the missle animation option but that still does not let it travel straight without dipping where the terrain dipps. Anyone have any suggestions? I just want the camera to fly straight over the terrain regardless of the dipps in the terrain. This is also a problem where I want to make it look as if I'm going through a tree. When I try to go through a tree the camera automatically flys over it which is not what I want.

Hello Mazak.
Thank you very much. Works like a charm.  Don't know how I missed that one.  I'm back onto the project.  Have a nice day!
