Hi,

I've just opened up a scene previously saved in PPro 2010, and the scene was initially OK, but as soon as I moved the camera around, the scene blacked out.

Does anyone know how to fix this, please ?

thanks,
Andrew

This used to happen to me.

Turn off the open gl preview in favor of the software preview and then switch back again.

That used to fix it for me.  Once it happens though it seems to happen fairly steadily, and didn't go away until I changed my video card.

With many improvements in pro2012's real-time rendering, it is possible your video card is no longer optimal.

Does it stay black no matter where you place the camera?

Thanks.
I have resolved the problem. It was something completely different.

I had a square plane in front of the subject, which was blacking everything out. The reason why I had it there in the first place was that I had been playing around with shaders on that plane to create effects such as desaturating the scene.

That's why I asked if it mattered where you placed the camera. :)

Actually, I had twiddled the camera, but clearly not enough to make the difference.
