Aww... thanks a lot! After being married before and even more as we are more in the grandma-and-grandpa- then in the groom-and-bride-age it means a lot to us that you share our hapiness. Or, as someone said: A wedding is the triumph of the hope over the statistics.

Again, congratulations!

Well, it isn't a correct translation. Google isn't very good at that.

I would translate it with "So weigh carefully before you bond yourself forever".

The google translation isn't exacly wrong, but neither right. Jules words in english aren't really a tranlation, but have a similar meaning.

Well... I guess that a "testing-time" of 9 years should be enough... "If you don't know me by now" and so on. We where lucky and had the perfect time and age for testing as we found out that

a) people really get older - it seems to be somthing that happens to everybody 😉

b) part of this is that we found out that gravity really exists

c) and that these things don't keep us from admiring and apreciating each other or

like Rammstein says: Liebe ist für alle da (Love is made for everybody) - (A word of warning: Don't dare to get the album by the same name if you are sensible and understand german).

Again: I didn't want to derail this thread but on the other hand didn't want to hear you say "Why didn't you tell us...?!" after all the time we spent in this thread (or is it a secret forum by itself already???).

@Jules: I am glad that you did not wrote down the far meaner variation of this saying (a part of Schiller's Glocke/Song of the bell by the way). In a whole it translates like this:

So test therefore, who join forever,
If heart to heart be found together!
Delusion is short, remorse is long.

SaintFox ( ) posted Fri, 21 October 2011 at 9:50 PM

Thanks, Thalek - you kept me from asking this question.

I will see what I can do with photos - as said the wedding is on St. Nicholas Day (December 6th) with just two friends. The church wedding (how do you call this?) will be in June 2012 (on Corpus Christi) and we will have the complete marketplace for the party if everything goes as desired. Our local churches plan a wedding-party with all couples who did not marry in church so far but now want to. The ceremony will be in each one's church (lutherian, catholic), then all couples and guests will have party in the town with a band, cakes, beer and bratwurst. The couples are invited by the parishes, the guests will have to bring some Euros to buy what they want at the wurst stall, baker's hut or the concession stand. We read of the plans of the local parishes in the newspaper and found the idea very appealing, most of all as someone just stated "Why getting married - that's so expensive in these days.". I had a great time when I said: You're invited, bring 10 Euros and help yourself!

But to be honest: This kind of party is exactly what I like - not as stiff and dry as we are used to but outdoor with many people and in the town where we live (a town that is notrious for it's street parties and celebrations like "32 pubs - 32 bands" - as more as we are only 41.000 citizens -babies included-  to visit all these pubs).

I'm not always right, but my mistakes are more interesting!

Congratulations, SaintFox (and Leo)!

Here's our girl with my WIP morph and texture set as well as a dynamic hair I built for her. I was originally trying to make her a mesh hair using PhilC's Hair Designer, but I haven't quite got the hang of that yet, so worked from the HD's skullcap to do dynamic hair instead. It's very basic - never even touched it with any styling tools - but I think it will pass for a free bonus once there are some more hair materials added.

Er... I just noticed something weird. When I select any of Antonia's body parts that I've tried, there are no Properties (the tab is there, of course, but it's empty). Is this something missing from Antonia, or a conflict with PP2012? (Can't check with other figures or older versions because I'm rendering at the moment.) Would be a deuce for e.g. people who hide body parts in order to solve pokethrough.

Thalek: Go figure. Your thought about the iris texture had occurred to me earlier but I had dismissed it. But your comment prompted me to see what would happen if I expanded the iris (gave it a different colour map from the rest of the eye parts). And the white circle around the edge seems to have disappeared.

Still doesn't make total sense to me, since in theory the way Antonia's eye UVs are laid out, I would have thought I'd see sclera there, not just blank white. But the main thing is that it seems to be working now.

the two materials zones overlap, the commons polys belong to the Iris, i am pretty sure this was pointed out somewhere in the 366 pages of the thread

Just ran into a specific problem with Antonia's weightmapped version. The area around her genitals deforms bit when I tried to pose her. I have a screen shot, however since it is a shot of her hoohah( *untextured*), I didn't want to violate Forum TOS. However, I did post an image of it at the Poser Place forum in the Antonia weightmap discussion thread.

I have posted a freebie to [Antonia's Free Site](http://www.bluecho4u3d.com/Antonia/database/sites/morphs.htm) "**Dial-A-Nose_AP**". A set of **25 nose morphs** for Antonia 1.2 (Hi Res) or previous. Some are realistic (I hope), some fantasy. You can cycle through the morphs via one a dial in the Body. Packaged as a PMD injection. Requires P6 or above. The animation above shows 10 of the morphs.

As far as I know:  1) Antonia is not currently Face Room-compatible.  2) Third parties have created data files in the past to make more items Face-Room compatible.

Believable3D ( ) posted Mon, 24 October 2011 at 8:19 PM

So far as I'm aware only SM (James, Jessi etc) and quasi-SM (Miki, IIRC) figures have Face Room files. If some third party - or SM itself - would support Antonia for the Face Room, that would be awesome. I was actually just thinking precisely that the last couple of days.

IIRC, Anton had to pay to get Face Room support for Apollo.  It can't hurt to ask, but I wouldn't expect them to do it.   From what I've read, setting up a figure for Face Room compatibility is a rather involved and expensive process.  (And, of course, I don't remember where I read these things....  :blushing:)

if my memory is right it was a post of Deecey, you need a special software and a lot of work, but you can use the FacePutty in  the PhilC PoserToolBox, compatible with any figure.

Thalek ( ) posted Tue, 25 October 2011 at 1:34 AM

FaceGen is wonderful stuff.  But you have to buy a second package, about the same price, to get the .obj files into Poser figure compatible shape.  And if you want to DISTRIBUTE what you've done, that requires a license that is also rather pricey.

But I've run the FaceGen demos several times and always been pleased with the results.  Very little touchup would be required in most cases, and in some, none at all.

Still, that would be one way of getting real faces onto Antonia.  (forcing myself back on-topic)

bagoas ( ) posted Tue, 25 October 2011 at 3:16 AM

PhilC's face putty is a wonderful thing, but with the standard 'cage' it takes a quite strong computer to run smoothly. Maybe less magnets could be used to improve performance.
The advantage of face putty is that it is easily adaptable. It reads a mesh file and positions 'nodes' at the vertices. The nodes, represented by small sphers connected with cylinders, control magnets that work on the head geometry. If you tailor the mesh for Antonia, you can use it for her.

What is missing is a built-in symmetry facility. A few dials like the ones you find in the face room giving direct control over features (jaw, cheeks) would be helpful also.

FacePutty comes as part of the Poser Toolbox. I am not sure if a generated cage with magnets can be distributed within the license.

For a specific figure like Antonia this of course can be mimed with a magnet set with controls.

Of course the face room is more than just geometry. It is also texture.
