I wrote a sort of tutorial on using the new Physical Sea Water and Underwater Caustics. I say a sort of tutorial because it is more of a discussion with examples of factors that influence how the water looks.

Hope this is useful. Going through all the configurations was really helpful for me. I really like these two features a lot.

Thank you Paula! That tutorial come very handy. A problem I have with the caustics is; they pixelate on closeup!? Is there a fix possible or do I something wrong?

Mazak, up the sharpness parameter, should do the trick. Also, maybe the scale of the efect is too large? Can't tell from your screengrab.

@bruno, The sharpness and scale parameter do not help. I made dozens of preview pictures. Also with the new build 7731. Nothing help to enhance the resolution of the caustics. On closeup they blow out.

Hmm, you're right, I made a test. Maybe worth opening a support ticket? Let me know, I can do it.
