This is a correction to a post that I made earlier.  I used the term Foo Dogs but the correct term is Chinese Lions

I've been searching everyone on the Internet and I'm about to give up.  Are there any Poseable 3D Chinese Lions   (incorrect term Foo dogs)  available?  I found the statute versions but I'm actually looking for the something I can pose.

I found statues like these with no problem

But I want a poseable version of a Chinese Lion similar to the statues but of color.  I've pretty much at the point where I know I'll have to end up drawing one.

I search "Chinese Lions", I got some stone sculptures. Those stone lions sits in front of some buildings. And some search result show lion dance, what are you looking for?

Triangle. I saw tons for 3d Chinese Lions statues but I'm looking for a poseable Chinese Lion. That way I can render it in different poses.  The statues are just that, one pose and that's all you'll get. 

Wolf, if I get it right, you want to make those stone chinese lions in different pose?

As far as I know, in real world, they only  have 2 pose, one on left and one on right and look like mirror pose just like the link you post. If you want statues sitting like that, you don't need that much pose. Or maybe you have other ideas.

I have one I bought many years ago in the RMP, but it seems to be gone now.  It is the Tien Lung Dragon.

 Yeah I have really big ideas for the Chinese lions that would require them to be in different poses that show life and energy.  Like a Chinese lion standing next to one of my anime characters as if it's protecting the character. My thoughts are more along the lines of "What if one of the statues came to life? How would they move? What would they do."  How cool would it be for a Chinese Lion guardian to come to life.  You could probably walk through any crime infested city in the world with one of those things if it was walking next to you and stood over 8 feet tall standing on all four legs.

I'll probably end up trying to draw one using one of the Milinium Lions as a guide.

Kind of odd looking, but with the perfect texturing and shading in Poser it should look terrific :) I hope this helps

I suppose either someone could try rigging the statues, or I could model one for you :) Might take a few weeks though, I'm already modeling a Medieval style lion anyways, might as well turn it into a Chinese lion. :) Let me know

LOL ooops.  You are right that it would be good to use in the picture.  The problem is that I'm currently using that type of dragon in the picture.  Now I need some other mythical animal that I can used as a partner for another character I'm working on.  First I'll probably try to draw one and if that doesn't workout then I'll try Daz's Mil. Big Cat and see if I can draw some Big Cat armor or Cyborg features.  Hopefully my drawing skills aren't too rusty.

If you think you can create a decent poseable Chinese Lion then I'll buy it from you. But don't rush with it because I'm pretty much leaning towards drawing it.  But I will still buy it since I don't want to constantly have to draw an image over and over just because I want to change the pose.
