Hope someone will find solution :)

I got Victoria4 Morphs++ and no matter what I do they don't work. Searched over at Daz3D Forum, did what they say and nothing. In brief:

  • I can't install to C:Program FilesSmith MicroPoser8 - installer doesn't see suitable exe file

  • installing as Daz files, in C:Program FilesCuriousLabsPoser4 directory results in Poser seeing morphs but they don't change anything in figure (can't load faces using morphs++, can't change body parts etc. - I see them in Parameters window but moving slider does nothing)

  • manually moving Morphs folder within various runtimes does nothing

  • installing as Poser (All Files) causes installer to give error messages but Daz files can be installed only to Daz folder and - see above, it doesn't work

Can anyone tell me what to do? When choosing to install as Daz Files, to CuriousLabs directory and Poser4 folder, I can see everything when opening up Poser. I heard installer is searching for V4 exe file, not the Poser exe file so I should install it where I have my Vicky installed. I did it and it didn't work. At the end installer is initializing Morphs and says initialization is complete and ok. well, it's not. manual initialization with DzCreateExPFiles-V4.bat file doesn't do anything neither.

I run Poser 8 on Windows 7 Ultimate. Had problems with installing Vicky base, couldn't install her to Poser and so she's installed to Curious Labs. i wouldn't expect to have problems with morphs++ too...

I'd love to expand my Vicky so please if you know this issue and know the solution please share :)

There are many posts outlining the problems with Windows 7, Program Files folder and UAC.  In which case, I am assuming that you installed Poser 8 into Program Files.  Aside from adjusting UAC security to a lower setting (not highly recommended), it would have been best to install your content in a shared folder, like My Documents, which bypasses the security restrictions set up by Windows.  Most DAZ installers will look for a Poser.exe file which you do have; only the pro versions will have installation difficulties.
