Do you recall back in the 90's when at craft fairs there were images of celebrities drawn in pencil pieces like James Dean and Marilyn Monroe or the cafe window with several classic actors at the counter? How did they do those without legal issues? I just don't get it. We used Faceshop to make celebs all the time ... sigh ... I guess someone thought it was too far. Dang. Does this mean, that if I used a celeb "look-a-like" in a competition piece here at Rendo, that I would be disqualified????

Wert's morphs have been gone for awhile and no one, that I know of, knows why. There has been a lot of speculation though, any where from legal to the author got annoyed at someone.
There are a few that marieah still had up, having obtain permission from Werts to make them injectable. I don't know if it contains what you want.
Do a search at ShareCG for Werts movie stars.
I don't recall any account at ShareCG with characters like that.

Quote - I think he distributed .obj files, not only deltas. Maybe this was a problem.
It probably was; However, since he was posting them at DAZ, I figured he had a dispensation. I wish now I had mentioned my concerns to him-he had a gift for sculpture...

"Oh - the manual says that? I have never read the manual - this must be why."Yes, WERTS distributed obj files and I wondered all along if that would be a problem. I am sure his morphs attracted many people to M4 and V4, I know they made those figures a whole lot more attractive to me.

I am sad not only because those morphs are no longer available, but because Werts is not likely to surprise and amaze me with his/her next creation any more.

Rather than speculating, why not just send him a PM over at Daz and ask him?

I was about to collect a bunch of celebraty characters from ShareCG for the christmas competition and ... they are all gone. I don't recall the modeler, but the "images" of the models are still there, with no models uploaded. What Happened? they had all the Star Trek: TOS characters, LOFR, classic actors such as Liz Taylor, Clark Gable and Humphry Bogart. All of them are gone. Any idea what happened????
