Subject: Hi resolution texture(s) for Antonia?

Eric Walters ( ) posted Sun, 27 November 2011 at 4:43 PM · edited Thu, 23 January 2025 at 7:09 AM

 Hi

Joined the 'revolution." Bought the morph package for Antonia Standard- looking for hi or medium res textures to plug into various SSS node setups. Any?

You might try my V3 remapped version of Antonia.  Then you can use just about any V3 skins you might have on her.

Antonia-Base-Texture_Thumb.jpg

What I have come to think of as the standard Antonia texture set "Antonia-Base-Texture"  by SaintFox and Digital-Lion, has maps that are 4,000 x 4,000 pixels, which I think is a high res as anyone is ever likely to need.

Also, 'Antonia's Free Site' is a good place to find textures and other content for Antonia.

 Thanks Les and 3Dream!

I am plugging textures into Bagginsbill's SSS nodes-and my own teeth node SSS setup. I'll give those a try.

I always do a double take when I see your pic 3dream. :-)

Here's a texture set I made for her last year.

I'm currently finishing up a new set that I hope to have out before Christmas :)

Which face morph is that, CyberScape? Your own? Lovely work! 😄

Thanks for pointing this out. I have added the link to my Antonia Links thread at PoserPlace.

Cool! Thanks, lkendall.

@Robyn: That face morph was created using one of Cage's scripts that transfers V3 head morphs to Antonia. Then I just turned dials. I'm glad you like it!

Like it! I'm blown away! And the body?? That's not Antonia's original bum: I'd know it anywhere. This just beggars belief what this community can do: I'm in awe.

I was waiting for a rainy day to sit and read that whole thread: guess what?!!? it's raining. I'll find that script if it's the last thing I do! Really, really impressed.

Just look for one of Cage's posts. He has links to the script in his signature.

I'll warn ya though, it's rather tricky to get great results with (at least it was for me).

Thanks for that -- something fun to explore, at any rate!!

The script would be TDMT, found here:

http://www.the.cage.page.phantom3d.net/TDMT_Match/TDMT.html

There's a data file posted there for V3 to Antonia.  I think I may have a better one lying around somewhere.   Some parts of any transferred morphs may need cleanup, particularly for the mouth area.

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking.  He apologizes for this.  He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.

Thanks, Cage. I'll get stuck into that as soon I get my head around wxGUI development ... I think I finally have been able to get rid of Antonia's 5-oclock shadow:

shadow-less

I have PhilC's fine Poser Python for Poser 8... looks like it will hold all the answers! It even comes with sample apps - how good is this! PhilC's a legend. 😄
