Okay, been spending way too much time this morning refitting Fabi's ballet outfit. I used CrossDresser, but I still had to pull the objects into Silo to make further adjustments. Anyway, my character Brynne with the WM version of Antonia.

This is a quicky to show the end work of the conversion I started earlier(It didnt take me very long I just got to playing with other stuff)

Antonia~WM wearing AerySoul(AlfaseeD) Xenon for v4.  

Conversion was mostly pretty easy, some parts were tougher (gloves had to be fitted manually, but the setup room rigged them easily) Shoes were easy enough to convert but you have to watch how you pose as some parts that arent meant to stretch do (as you can possibly see in the pic).  

I used D3Ds Morphing clothes to transfer Antonia Advanced Morphs to the refit and the clothes follow everything but the most extreme dials without pokethrough.

Character is dialed using Afrodite Ohki's Advanced morphs.  Lighting is BB p8 soft studio lighting (tweaked down a notch or two).  Floor is a simple procedural shader Using SSS. Texture is RobynsVale's SSS shaders from the Antonia package (And I didn't even tweak 'em this time :P)

Yay!  Glad to see she's all ready to take on the world!  Haven't been doing much rendering lately between web work and a new kitten (can't render very well with a kitten traipsing on your keyboard >.<)  Can't wait to see what she has in store for her!  :D

I think we really need some expression morphs and phonemes.  The default set by odf is very well done, but no one seems to understand how to use it as intended, and perhaps a full range of facial expressions can't be had from the components available.  I'm not sure, though.  I wish I knew how they were supposed to be used for optimal effect.  😕

LOL, well, I cheated with this one - I used one of SaintFox's WM poses and didn't change anything.  Normally, I fiddle with a post, but I was trying to hurry and get Wayii's textures out there.

I'd love to see some standing poses for the WM version.  Of course, the "regular" (not weight mapped) poses work just fine, too, but SF's WM poses look so natural.

And, yes, this project is very exciting.  I've rarely had so much fun just rendering!

Thanks, jancory.  :laugh:  I've bookmarked that link for purchase after the holidays.  I recall that odf had divulged the source for the methods he was applying, but the main Antonia thread is so long now, and the 'Rosity search function hates me so much, that I hadn't bothered to try to dig it up.  :lol:

Possibly I try for more extreme expressions than the default Antonia morphs will allow, particularly because of the limits applied on the dials.  Probably odf is trying to point the way forward to a better process, but I'm still stuck in an older mode with respect to handling facial expressions.  :unsure:

Thought I'd get in on the fun. I had another one that I was going to post instead, but it's probably still rendering. So I go with this one instead.

Edit: There is one little critique I have about her elbow when she bends it. Doesn't look right. Reminds me of how V4's knees don't look natural when she bends it.

If you can expand on this, possibly it can be addressed in an update.  How are you posing the elbow and how does it seem inadequate? 

(Note that Antonia's forearm rigging is unusual in that a bit of side-side can actually be necessary in some cases.  If you load the "Attention" pose on Antonia-Standard or Antonia-1.2, you'll find that the forearms have some side-side adjustment, in order to properly straighten the arms.  Not saying that necessarily has any relevance here, but possibly it might...?  :unsure:)

Unfortunately, I'm not at my computer or I'd simply show you. But it seems the elbow joint area should bulge a bit when the forearm and shoulder get closer. I'm not seeing that.

Yeah, I had no problem getting weight mapped stuff to fit.  In fact, it's really nice.

Can you be more specific which Phantom3D tut you were following?

You simply load in your clothing object (grouped) and save it as a prop.

Then load the prop, and go into the Setup Room.

From there, you simply follow the instructions in the Antonia~WM PDF file, Appendix 5:

Quote - Load the geometry of the clothing item as a prop.
Open the Set-up Room.
From the library change the figure to Antonia Polygon – WM, (or use the development version). To the question whether you want to re-group answer no because the groups are the same.
You now have a weight-mapped conforming item. Re-name it and test it (without conforming) in the pose room. If it behaves the way you expect it to, save it to your figures library.
Exit and re-start Poser.
Test the piece with it conformed to an Antonia Figure.
If you want the piece for further use, open the Set-up Room and trim the rig down to the bones you need.
You can transfer any morphs from the existing clothing in a separate application like MorphManager.

You'll want to load the CR2 in something like Poser File Editor to clean up and delete unused bones, materials and magnets if you plan to distribute it, but that's not even necessary if it's something you will use in your runtime.

I've opened poser and loaded a v4 with desired morph and Antonia blank.

I ran the comparison python script which genereated the needed transfer file

I ran the transfer

result not so much.

Am I missing something?

A comparison with TDMT (like one with Morphing Clothes and various other programs) requires that the shapes of the two objects being compared be as similar as possible.  I was able to compare Antonia to both V1 and V3 by carefully shaping Antonia's head to match those others.  And the results still need manual cleanup in some areas, notably the mouth.  :unsure:

The V1 and V3 comparison files for Antonia are still on the TDMT site.  I would probably start an Antonia-V4 comparison by using the V3 data file to port the V3 head shape to Antonia.  IIRC, V3's head is closer in shape to V4's than Antonia's is.

Are you doing re-fits of other figure clothing? or Antonia standard to Antonia WM.

I've found all my fittings to be a breeze.  Once the shape is right.. and it is already if you are using antonia standard... just load your OBJ as a prop, open the setup room and load antonia WM, if you are already using antonia grouped stuff you are good to go, If not then tell it to re-group when it asks.  Smooth as silk for me, and I'm not very experienced with things like the set up room

Yeah, there can be a bit of work involved, before a useful comparison for any two objects is generated. 

There is a V3 data file for TDMT available.  I've found it generally to be effective, requiring only a bit of cleanup around the corners of the mouth, with mouth-opening morphs.  So you could port V3 morphs to Antonia, using the script.

And I believe Ohki's Advance Morphs for Antonia include a wide range of face-shaping morphs.

save figure,

close program, select figure and clothing item and.

VOILA!  (like the Progressive Ad) They Fit!!!

It's a refreshing  thing from doing Auto Group, or using maskd's Auto Group Editor -- a big difference.

It's my work in progress bra/bustier I call My Busty!

If you have Antonia Advanced Morphs (and I HIGHLY recomend them) its a great idea to pick up morphing cloths as well, so far its done a fantastc job of adding the advanced morphs to everything I have tried.. And I am playing a LOT!! (Despite the fact that there is a project that I am supposed to be working on)

For me the same, I have a desk full with work...but I go back every free minute to her WM version and play arround. :)

decided to go to setup room,

select figure,

copy figure groups,

rename figure,

save figure,

close program, select figure and clothing item and.

VOILA!  (like the Progressive Ad) They Fit!!!

It's a refreshing  thing from doing Auto Group, or using maskd's Auto Group Editor -- a big difference.

Thanks Glitterati3D and many others.  It takes the guess work in conforming clothing.  I've yet to learn from the new weight map features, as to why I got PP2012.
