Subject: Material Room Macro Buttons? I thought they were around here somewhere....

Daymond42 ( ) posted Sat, 17 December 2011 at 12:37 PM · edited Tue, 04 February 2025 at 5:47 PM

In Poser Pro 2012, I seem to have lost my macro buttons for the Material Room, so I can quickly add a reflection or AO to a material and tweak it from there..

I'm trying to look through the different settings to find it, but I've not found anything as of yet. Anyone care to help with this quickie (hopefully) issue?

Click on the toothpik. Vertical !!!! Lke the horizontal toothpick in the library. It slides them in and out.

Ps you have PoserPro
Take AO in right hand
Put right hand behind your back.
Swiftly but firmly ; move right hand very fast to front.
Open fingers at right moment.
Let AO fly as far as it wants to.
Never look back.

You have IDL now.

AO = fake.
IBL = fake

InDirect Light is what you want to use.

Online Now!

But PP2012 IDL will now consider AO if you want it.

Thanks vilters! I completely forgot about that darn thing on the right hand side. :D

Also, duly noted about the AO bit. I came from Poser 7, where I was using AO kinda religiously. Shortly after getting Poser Pro 2012, though, I was getting deep into my college classes (Anatomy & Physiology II and its appropriate lab), so I tossed Poser on the backburner. Now that I'm on winter break.. I'm ready to finally explore this program. :D

Oh, and if anyone is curious, I got a B in the lab, and an A in the lecture for A&P II. Booya. :D

Ooooh anatomy classes, I'm jealous. I've always been interested in anatomy and I tried desperately to get into some dissection/forensics classes at my college but I was never able to convinve the Professor of the dept to let me in.  Not only am I fascinated with how the body works and what could cause it to stop working, the classes would have been a great help learning the muscles and how the body moves for my art classes. :(

My goal is to get into being an x-ray technician, so I'm taking the prerequisites for Radiography.
