When I was vending and since I've been here, there was always Freebies from Vendors for Christmas.  I'm in here almost every day and haven't seen a sign of it from anywhere this year . . .

Yeah I am confused as well Byheart. Apparently I missed week one and two, anyone got some links to those weeks or are we just sol?

well;  I see where there is an announcement on the home page but no link . . . I just assumed they had dropped it . . . seems like vendors don't participate much anymore anyway . . . but still, those who do surely  want us to have the items they offer . . .

There is a large-ish Flash banner on the main homepage for Renderosity.  You need to enable your web browser's Flash to see it.  On the side of it (Right, I believe) there's a column listing holiday and current events which are clickable.  Once you click on the giveaway link, the Flash banner shows you the giveaway picture, with a button that says Read More and which is clickable.  Once you click that, you go to the giveaway webpage.

thank you . . . have been clicking on the side since I first saw it, but it did nothing . . . nothing like keeping it a secret so no one can get to it . . .

Thank you for those that helped guide them to the links.  At the end of the month we will post another article that includes all the products that were listed in the promotion.

byheart - I am sorry that you couldn't find the link, after you click on the event, on the homepage, and it pops up the thumbnail for it, at the bottom is a button that we feel stands out that says "read more".  I am sorry you did not see that, but we are in no way trying to hide it as it is listed on the front page of the site. 

In regards to the amount of vendors that participated this year, we were slightly down on the amount of products this year for the giveaway.  I will go ahead and take complete blame for that as the announcment to the vendors that informed them of the giveaway was sent out later than we usually send it out.  This might have had an impact on the amount of vendors that participated, due to the lack of time to create a product for the give away, and for that I apologize.  We still were very happy with the amount of vendors that participated and we ended up with more than 50 freebies with the late notice. 

Please make sure you look for the last article at the end of the month which will include all the products from the giveaway

Blake, I'm sorry but I'm not seeing this article on the landing page where the little flash window is. Perhaps this should/could be included in the newsletters along with the 12 days of christmas announcements?  ;)

If you got to the "Home" page.  You will see the rotating articles, and it is named "Last Week - Holiday Giveaway".

I am not sure why you can't see it, as I have no problems on my end using Firefox.

At the moment, clicking the thumbnail picture of Hey Santa V4 by nikisatez to download it will give you an error.  But, clicking the product name above the pic should work though.
