Hi
The Windows 7 search engine is really poor.
I tried to find an .avi file on my D: drive and it told me there weren't any.
I have dozens of .avi files, but it couldn't find them even when I was looking at them !!!
Download this search utility and run it, big improvement, found my file in a few seconds..

If you shoot a mime, do you need a silencer?
Another possibility: Is this runtime in the program files folder? If so, then Windows' User Account Control may have put the files into another folder which is linked to the folder you targeted. Go to the folder where you expected the files to be, and see if there is a little icon at the top of the window for compatibility files. Click on it to go to your files.

Hello,
I had this same problem in Vista and posted it back in July. I got a couple of responses but no solution. I encountered the same issue again tonight but and renewed my effort to try to find a solution. I did a search of the forums and clicked into this thread which looked promising. Paydirt!! I did not know about the Compatibility Files. Thanks a million!!
I am not sure if you have everything you need yet or not, however, if you have the hidden files on then go into your computer files to "drill" for it in the following path.
C drive
Click on users--
select your computer--(whatever you named it)
Click on AppData
Click on Local
Click on Virtual store
Click on Program files (x86)
Click on Smith Micro
Click on Poser
Click on Dowloads and then access it the way you normally access your other runtime

i'm on Vista, too. there's a couple of extra checkboxes for search indexed files only, etc; that can mess with file searches.

I am sure this has been asked before and I tried to look for an answer first. But I have Poser 8 and recently bought PP2012. I wanted to copy a character I made and added morphs to from Poser 8 to PP2012. But when I go to look for it using MS Explorer in the folders is it not there at all. I searched the whole Poser 8 filder and sub folders and it is not there. Does Poser save characters I saved in some odd format or something?
I am using Windows 7 Pro, Show hidden files is turned on. This is Poser 8 that I am looking in for the files.
