Has anyone converted V4 hair for Anastasia? I've seen promos of her and she's not bald, so SOMEbody has. I did this for Bun Hair for an acceptable result:

Scale: 98%, Y: -0.600, Z: -0.080 (She's a lot shorter than Vicky's supermodel proportions)

But that's just quick and dirty, and Bun Hair has a lot of loose strands hiding my inaccuracy, I'm sure.  Hoping somebody has figured a conversion that works well for lots of different hair.

Generally, when fitting hr2-hair, it's a matter of scaling, repositioning and in extreme cases a bit of touch-up with the morphing tool.

Then again, most hair CAN be fitted using that method, and you can always save your result back to the hair folder with a new name.

But it's mostly just .. hard work :)

Looks good imax24.

You can also use magnets to pull parts of the hair around so that they fit better to the head.

Well, I'm giving 'Stasi (she lets me call her that) her own runtime in hopes that there will be enough support to fill it out. I'm saving conversions there instead of mixing it up with Vicky's ginormous collection. It's nice having hair load in proper positon and scale. In fact, if I use a magnet to scale and position the hair, I can save an Anastasia Fit morph right into the hair.

CR2 hair is  a little trickier. I wouldn't mind if all hair was HR2 or a prop.

Well, you can sorta make conforming hair parent rather than conform..I do it...but there's a proper way...lol. Unfortunately I don't know how to do it :P.

2 recent hairs at Daz that I have not tried yet with the new Babe on the Block

Tatiana Hair by 3Dream (has Alyson prop hair fit)

Vida Hair by 3Dream (has Alyson prop hair fit)

Most if not all 3Dream recent hairs found at Daz have Alyson fits for the prop version of the hair. Problem is you can't search on Alyson at Daz to find items that I know of.

Anastasia's head doesn't seem vastly different than V4's in general shape, at least as far as fitting hair. It's some 6-7 inches closer to the ground, which makes her a more realistic female height than Vicky's 6'2" in Poser measure. Her body shape cants it a little to the back, too.

I just thought maybe some early Anastasia buyer had converted a lot of hair for her and could share their experience. Maybe it's just as simple as translating it into position, scaling down slightly and resaving the GNDA version to the library. That worked for Bun Hair, which leaves some margin for error. Let's see how it works with a close-cropped do that shows more clearly how it sits on her head.

Here are a couple boy cuts, Gloria Hair (left) and Kozburo's free Short Crop (right). Not much adjustment needed in either case, but clearly each hair style needs its own individual adjustment. Flouncier hair may not need any scaling at all, just repositioning.

Gloria: All scale 94%, Z scale 96%, Y -0.642, Z -0.093

Short Crop: All scale 94%, Y -0.624, X -0.110
