it just struck me as i'm on the norad site..tracking santa...(he's just been given a goodbye kiss by mrs santa ...makes me feel like a spy!) ..and all of it is done using sketchup. is it still very much in vogue? don't hear much about it.. 

talking of norad..can we at rendo please help them out next year?? rather flat images.. 

ooh..he's going to go..he's on the take off mode! goodie!

I think it's just recently been upgraded to version 8, so definitely still active.  I don't use it much for actual modelling now, but it's a great tool for converting and exporting models I've download from Google Warehouse into .3ds format so that they can be used in Bryce.
