Quote - Very much the look of a 40's or 50's Hollywood studio shot.  Almost a high key shot. (Used to burn out blemishes to make the actors or actresses look perfect.)

Very nice job, Glitterati.

Thank you!

RobynsVeil, that would be a great idea, a forum for clothing beginners where we could discuss and follow tutorials.

I need all the advice I can get, and written tutorials, video tuts are way to hard to follow without good hearing...lol.

Quote - That's a stunning image, Glitterati!

I feel a bit guilty but I've been playing too ... 😄 - however, I did finish the new J-shader for Antonia. Just wondering if I should just put it up as is at PoserPlace Christmas Party or have someone throw a bunch of different lights at it and see if it squeaks.

Decisions-decisions...

Thanks!  As is your image - beautiful, that is.

If you want someone to experiment with your shaders before release, just let me know.  I'm happy to play.

Is Poserplace down?

I've been trying since last night to log on there but get a 4o4 error-not found message.

Anyone else having this problem?

Yes, it's down for the time being. I believe it's being moved to a new server.

Same here.  There's a post over at RDNA saying they were moving server locations so that's probably what's going on.

On a lighter note, I released the Antonia Corset and Stockings today as a Happy New Year gift to Antonia fans:

http://www.sharecg.com/v/58371/view/11/Poser/Antonia-Corset-and-Stockings

Submitted to Rendo as well, awaiting approval for those who would prefer to get it here.

Happy New Year, everyone!

You're welcome!

I have played.  That is one beautiful set!  Put her in contortions that would be impossible, and nothing poking though or breaking down.  Super job!

Um, ya.  The handle refers to something not normally considered in the groups here, gaging tolerances.  I was, before retirement, a certified gage technician.  Retired from that and became a toolmaker.

But definitely nothing rated triple X.

The "I" in Doric is Silent.

I just pop in to say Hi and happy new year to the whole Antonia-crowd and fans... and to say sorry that I was not able to contribute something to the big Give-Away. But the season, work and last but not least our wedding kept me busy. And, yes, as closer as christmas came I found that I deserve a little break 😉

I'm not always right, but my mistakes are more interesting!

And I am not strange, I am Limited Edition!

@SaintFox:I think we all need a little break now and then, I know I do.

I'm taking a bit of one now on my 3d work and trying to relax a little, though that's hard to do with other chores that won't be put aside...sigh.

Went to bed early and let the New year ring itself in without me...lol.

Oh wow, well that's what I call exhausted. I mean: Even if I would have a desire to sleep on old year's eve it would not be possible because of all those fire crackers outside. I can tell you that two of our three cats had eyes as big as saucers yesterday and quickly found a safe place under the bed when the crazyness started somewhere around 22.00. The third one was highly fascinated by the fireworks and sat down behind the window directly above the crossroads where people started their rockets - he is deaf 😉

I'm not always right, but my mistakes are more interesting!

And I am not strange, I am Limited Edition!

Zero tolerance on firing guns in the town limits on New Eve and fireworks kept at a minimum.

It was very quiet around here. :)

It was a different story when we lived in the city, we had gunshots all year long too close for comfort.

I prefer this peace and quiet, even as near deaf as I am some loud noises irritate me...lol.

SaintFox ( ) posted Sun, 01 January 2012 at 6:41 PM

Gunshots?!:scared: No... no guns around here in the hands of any civilian. Just fireworks and some crackers, but it looked to me that people prefer on colorful things more than on noisy ones meanwhile. I, myself, prefered to spend on cinammon liquor and cappucino instead and simply watch the fireworks and the waiter of the pub who went out on the street and made a little fire-eater show 😉

I'm not always right, but my mistakes are more interesting!

I can tell you that we first where pretty shocked when the young man walked out with a torch and a little jerrycan filled with pyrofluid (and, of course, a bottle of water to get rid of the taste). People started to say "No, Tobi won't do this, won't he?!". But he did and as the pub resides in a street where there are several others there was enough audience to apreciate it.

I'm not always right, but my mistakes are more interesting!

The image is clickable... I did run into some problems with shaders displaying a bit of a red cast like under the hair (shadows). Her features are quite refined, though... gives Antonia a completely different look. 😄
