Subject: M4 Morphs++ Not Showing in Parameter Dials

melwar ( ) posted Sat, 07 January 2012 at 7:24 PM · edited Sat, 15 February 2025 at 10:59 AM

It's been ages since I've been in these forums (years, actually!)

I just installed the Morphs++ for Michael 4 and none of them will show in my parameter dials when I select them. I'm using Poser 6 with the latest service update. I know, I'm way behind everyone else! What's weird is that the morphs do show in DAZ Studio. I'm not as comfortable working with DAZ Studio. It's more awkward to use than Poser.

I'm just curious why everything else I install into Poser works just fine, but these morphs don't. The icons are there, but they just don't show up in my parameter dials.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Melanie

What is your Operating System?  Where is Poser installed?  Where is M4 and Morphs++ installed?

Windows 7. Poser is on the hard drive, with morphs, characters, everything in the Poser directory. I saw the previous thread earlier, but it didn't seem to answer my problem. I thought maybe it was because I have an older version of Poser, but eveything else I install in Poser works perfectly. shrug

You do need to update your M4 installation after loading and validating any morph package designated for the character.  That will create the additional channels to accept the morphs.  Without that step, you will not see any new dials.

Thank you! That worked! The morphs are there now!
