Greets,

Okay so I just got and installed Poser Pro 2010 - cool is all I have to say to that so far.

Loaded Victoria 4, went through all the SP, loaded the updates etceter etcetera.

Loaded Vicky, no problem,

Gave her the hi rez texture - and well... Anyone able to explain this one to me?

This is the DAZ created texture V4FaceM, with the associated bumps and spectacular...

Didn't fit like this in Poser 7, so WHF is up with this, did I install wrong or something?

Thanks,

V

Shouldn't the back of the head be using the torso texture?

Vially ( ) posted Sat, 21 January 2012 at 5:35 PM

Just like that - that is a render

Um, only option is Skin Head, which if changed changes her face...

But, never mind, reloaded to check that and it's fine now... Weird.

Thanks folks :)

Lol talk about Irony - that happening the same week with the blackouts over SOPA. v4 is voicing her opinion!

Sam, there is a skin Head and Skin Face, and two different textures.

SamTherapy ( ) posted Sat, 21 January 2012 at 8:43 PM

That's what I thought.  So, selecting Skin Head shouldn't change the face at all.  Vially, however, said:

"Um, only option is Skin Head, which if changed changes her face..."

Have I fallen into a parallel universe with a different V4?

I believe your original endearing nickname was miss "bag of smashed crabs" face!

That stuck with me. I've still not used it yet- "say-your face looks like a bag of smashed crabs!" Nope. Still awaiting a good opportunity!

Indeed it was, Eric.  A bag of smashed crabs.  Heh.

I thought you said that in reference to Alyson. When I first read that comment I nearly busted my insides laughing! :)

Glad to help. :)

I did say it about Alyson.  First said it about V4, though.  I also think V4's default face looks worryingly like Little Britain's David Walliams.  :)

Yep, sorry, there is a skin head and skin face.

Silly me thought that they might be together if there were, noo, skin face is way down there, just above preview.. LoL

Thanks again.

Oh, man.  His name makes my brain's spell-checker go berserk.  :scared:

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking.  He apologizes for this.  He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.
