Subject: combining models.

I need to create a male figure with one leg and three tentacles coming out of his side. Is there any way I can do this in Poser? Perhaps by Frankensteining, or does that only work with heads? ideally I would then like to export the model to Mudbox to work on it. IS this possible? any advice gratefully received. JR

There are a few free tentacle figures that you could simply parent to the male figure. You might apply a magnet or the morph tool to make the connection look a bit better.

I've had mixed results trying to join models in poser and then work on them in another software.  Its easy enough to position them how you like them and export the parts into a single obj, but the geometries dont really join.   I've never used mudbox but if you place the tentacles where you want you may be able to use that to create a morph in the base figure to make it look like it joins.  There are some lekku for v4 that use this technique.  Texturing of the tentacles and the area of the figure where they join would be key to it looking decent when you are done.

I think a lot of the work on this would need to be done outside of poser.
