Have you been using the bulge maps to try to fix pokethrough? I've found that they work fairly well for that, much of the time. But I haven't used Anastasia, so I don't know if there might be any special complications involved in your project.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below. His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.

No, Anastasia isn't the problem. She does have a couple of JCM's, but not in the hip area. I'll have to take a look at those bulge maps though. I didn't realize they were separate. Thanks!
The bulge maps won't help with twist (for which they're not available, unfortunately), but for bend and side-side they're fantastic! :woot:

Yeah, I was just playing with them a bit. Your right, they don't help with the twists, but I'm having some nice results with some of the other movements. I guess I'll have to start over and do a bit more weightmap manipulation. Thanks again for the tip! ;-)

I know there's probably a learning curve involved seeing as this is my first weightmapped figure I've worked on, but man, so far I have 18 JCM's in these shorts, and I have at least four more to do!! ( I forgot she has a pelvis that moves as well! DOH!) Not to mention I'm probably going to have to do several adjustment morphs for compound bends (such as a thigh that is twisted, bent and moved from side to side all at the same time)
I thought weight mapping was going to eliminate a lot of this. The smoothing brush went a long way to smooth up most of the bends (which all looked horrible out of the box, BTW), but there isn't one rotation in any body part that I haven't done a JCM for due to pokethrough issues! Gabriel mentioned to me that these "booty shorts" would be a hassle, but I think some of the stuff I'm seeing would crop up in any tight pants as well.
I've attached an example. On the left is Anastasia with her waist twisted at the limit of 30 degrees. That's the best I could get with adjusting the weightmap in the joint editor. On the right is after the JCM I made was applied.
Could I be doing something wrong?
