The camera view is the final view you want to render... The director's view is the camera you use to build you scene.. it flies around much easier... But this is just up to you..
I find it easier doing it that way... You can also save different camera views for more advance work...

Director's view. Works for me. I find it easier to control.

Hi,
I too prefer the Director View for easier/faster control.
When my view and position fits, then I usually copy the DirectorView onto the Camera with that tiny triangle and "Camera to Director". Or I do vice versa, if I moved around with the CameraView (due to its more logical Undo behaviour when freshly inserted objects are involved). That copy/paste of Dir/Cam settings allows me also to quickly revert to that previous Camera/Director setting, if I got totally lost in my scene.
PS: I do know about the placeholder-dots for "Saved Views", but dislike using them and really prefer my personal workflow, as I described above. Nothing about right or wrong, just mere personal preferences. ;)

I concur with Hubert in using the Director’s view for easy maneuverability around the scene. And when I’m not too sure about which POV is best, I do use the place holder dots…especially if I decide to change skys and when not sure I can revert to a previous setup with just a click. And, as Hubert, when I’m satisfied with the final Director’s view, I do the Camera to Director changeup trick.
Yep. I learned the lesson the hard way to set my scene up for the Camera View (and don't forget the 'save dots in the upper left next to the preview, which will allow for you to return the camera and director view to certain positions. Use the director view to set up the scene, then when you're ready and the models are in place as you think you want them, in the director view, go to the camera view and choose 'camera to director' then save it in place there. Then whenever you need to see something from a different view, go to director and inspect with that.
Oh, and don't forget, to minimize file size and memory waste, delete anything non essential to what you can see in camera view.

When building a scene in Bryce, is it best to use the Directors View or ther Camera View?
