Subject: Environment Plant motion

OldCode ( ) posted Wed, 01 February 2012 at 1:55 PM · edited Wed, 06 November 2024 at 11:51 PM

Hi Everybody,

I just got Vue 10 xtream and am using it with Lightwave.   I imported a poser scene into the stand alone program as a reference, then used a few plants to create an environment around the poser figure.

When I render it out, the plants are swaying in the wind, much too much for my taste.

Does anybody know how to ajust the motion of the plants within an environment, or stop them all together?  I've been up and down the manual but can't find anything.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Oldcode

Try the atmosphere editor --> wind

I think there you can adjust it.

Hello!

You can enable and disable the breeze and wind effects in the atmosphere editor (wind tab) on a per scene base and in the plant editor for each plant type. In the atmosphere editor you can also adjust the intensity of the effects.

Ciao

Thanks guys!!!!!

I looked EVERYWHERE, except there. LOL

It just seems strange the the default is one with such a strong breeze.

Thanks again.
