Subject: runtime shows in Poser, not in folder

Very Strange. I have a Laptop. Installed tons of stuff into a folder I created called Runtime V4. Decided to copy it to my desktop computer. Now, a lot of the folders in the Runtime V4 are not visable through Poser or in the runtime folder. Any ideas? Same version of poser, same OS.

Sigh*

Which version of Poser?

Which OS?

(Same doesn't cut it - still have no clue what you're using, so cannot suggest things to check.)

Also, what is the full path to this folder you created?

Are you on Vista or Windows 7?

Do you have UAC enabled?

Is the folder in one of those protected places on the source machine? On the destination machine?

Are you running Poser as a UAC crippled user or as administrator?

When you did the copy, were you a UAC crippled user or an administrator?

etc. etc. etc.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

You said everything shows in Poser, but not in folder. Did you use the library features (detailed in manual Chapter 7) to examine the actual location of the things you're unable to find? Did that reveal a path you expected or something else you did not expect, and had no idea you did not know what you did not know?

BB, it sounds that the OP created a folder named Runtime V4 but forgot to create the actual runtime folder within the parent.
