I have just Downloaded the outfitter script and hope many users who have also used it will Join me in giving a big round of appaluse to them the outfitter works really well and the script only took 7 seconds on adjusting one piece of clothing in my runtime.

Thank you, Demon2330. You deserve credit for not only using Outfitter but also acknowledging that this is ground-breaking, earth-shattering software, much along the lines of V4-WM herself.

Now the girl has clothes. Everything in your runtime!

I had downloaded the script and not bothered using it until yesterday.  I agree that it's terrific and I'm grateful to the team who put it together!

Applause, indeed!

Have a look:

http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/browse.php?user_id=229244

The thing is, the script is SO good, that I can't tell the difference between the fit of the weight-mapped clothing on weight-mapped V4, and that of the non-weight mapped versions.

In general, products created by vendors who've done a really good job making their clothes fit my highly morphed characters in the first place (like 3D-Age, for example), go through the script seamlessly.  It's easy to use and VERY quick!

Yes, Thank You to all involved!! Sure makes things easier! This is an essential product!  :o)

Where I found the outfitter script?

I agree with the above but have noticed one exception. I downloaded and used the script from the first few days it was available to everyone. I have not found anything yet that it cannot work with.  In fact I had a outfit I liked to use pre-WM but always had problems with the fit of the boots on my morphed character.  After running the script (excluding the left and right toe as suggested) the fit is spot on and much better with V4WM so, in this case, I can tell the difference.

Many thanks to all of the team, not only for spending all the time but also giving such a useful script away for free.  I would happily have paid for both the V4WM and the Outfitter but this way those who managed to find the cost of P9/2012 can join in the fun and use their existing V4 investment  - many thanks to all.

I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 -  Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB  storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU .   The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.

So is it like waredrobe wizard?

No.  It doesn't interchange between figures.  It only works for converting non-weightmapped clothing intended for V4 or Antonia to the weight-mapped versions.

I downloaded this and tried it on Jeanz and Button Shirt. It is simple to use. Attached is a quick render. It does convert multiple files.

I do not know if this is the correct thread to post this, but WM V4 seems to have a problem with some conforming hair. The attached image is an example. It seems to snarl up in the same way as unconverted clothing. Is there a way arround this?

Have you shortened the V4 figure in any way?  I used an old script that worked on V4 with V4WM and it appeared to work.   However I had the same problem with hair and I noticed that the joint around the neck of Vicky was wrong (almost as though it had slipped forward).  I used the scale dials on V4WM to duplicte the same body size and then used the same hair and all the problems disappeared.

This just a WM V4 without scaling. The converted clothes worked fine. Some conforming hair seems to work better than others. Here is one that seems pretty good, but when compared with the same hair on a non WM V4 does not seem to be conforming as well.

Same hair on non WM V4. Seems to work better.

basicwiz ( ) posted Sun, 26 February 2012 at 2:57 PM

Did you copy the joints from the V4WM to the hair? Conforming hair has bones and joints, just like clothing.

Hi Robyn

Slightly OT- I'm trying to do my part with my sig-but when I try to past the logo images as my sig-I get an error telling me it must be UNDER 1000 characters. How did you get it to accept the V4-WM logo? Tried to use the Logos from the crew forum at PoserPlace.

Thanks! Eric

You are welcome- and I'm glad you are enjoying it. I think Robyn said it best.

Cage wrote an AWESOME script. You would be amazed how many different ways content creators have for making clothing cr2's. It works so well, largely, because Cage was so diligent in fixing problems we found with different non-standard clothing items- he even bought some items so he could look at the files himself.

Ow YES! A BIG shout out to the WM team! What an amazing work you all did there. Infinite :bows: and :thanks: :D

Regarding converting conforming hair ...

With the arrival of V4-WM, I changed my work flow a lil bit. I'm not conforming the (conforming) hair anymore, but rather just parent it to the "head" of V4-WM, whilst in zero position. This seems to work pretty well for me and I have not noticed any disadvantages, so far. :)
