Which shoes are you having the problem with? There might be a foot pose included for M4, so check under poses...

The Wisdom of bagginsbill:
"Oh - the manual says that? I have never read the manual - this must be why."conforming shoes can be irritating, making them fit Freak 4 can be futile.
smart prop shoes are easier, but then they don't bend with the toes.
how do you win-win?

As suggested, make the covered up parts invisible. Also, make sure they are for M4, not any other figure.
BTW, shoes are most usually conformed to M4, not any specific body part. You just select the character itself from the list. Parented, however, is body part specific. In which case, it would be Foot.

I'm using windows7 and poser pro 2010.
I have shoes that came as a pair, that I am trying to fit onto M4. I have tried parenting and conform to, but I still have skin showing through.
On the parenting I've tried his l/r foot, and body not really sure what part of M4 I was suppose to parent them to?
Note to self, next time get shoes that are independant from each other. It woulde be easier to fit each shoe instead of fitting them as a pair I think.
