Subject: Need help with saving pz3s or pzzs in poser 2012

I am having trouble when I open a scene that I have saved in poser 2012. I get the  error message that I have enclosed as an attachment.

My current file save settings are shown as an attachment.

I tried to change settings to "use file compression" and save as pzz but then poser crashed.

What should I do to save scenes to avoid these problems?

Lance

I always leave use external binary morph targets unticked as it gave me some horrendous problems on an earlier version of Poser (Poser 7 I think).  I have now used Poser 8, 2010 and 2012 and never had a problem with saving with this option unticked.

I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 -  Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB  storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU .   The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.

PMD's have become rather notorious to corruptions.  Many users, like hornet3d and myself included, shy away from using it unless you are creating content for distribution for both Poser and DAZ.

You can recover (pretty much all of) the scene, see previous threads for the procedure.
