After figuring out many of the wrong way to do this picture, I started over with what I learned. Poser's grouping tool is a fun toy, but it would be a lot less frustrating if it had a deselect polygon option. And if there is one that I just didn't find please let me know. Feel free to comment.

It does. Check out this tutorial, it is most helpful. You could also make a trans map for the parts of the head that you don't want. Hope this helps.
