I am rather new at this and was wondering where I can get a good dragon model. I looked all over this site but couldn't find anything. Do I have to buy it? Thanks for the help!

DAZ3D dragon is good plus right now you can save another 30% there, which you could use to buy some of my dragon addons. ;)

Online Now!

Has anyone tried the dragond creator here inthe market place? I was thinking of trying that, but I've never seen textures for it and so I was wondering if they are harder to texture....

All of the above are great models. Bloodsong's CD is I think a particularly good approach, ensuring a high degree of customisation. My own dragon shown here is $24.95 from the store. Can one ever have enough dragons? :) [![philc_agatha_white_on_black.jpg](http://www.philc.net/images/logos/philc_agatha_white_on_black.jpg)](http://www.philc.net)

Phil... nope, one can't! It's like potatochips! ;-) You need to put a warning on your little dragon though... Danger: highly addictive! Cute and cuddly beyond words! Will take over your world and living room. With other words... she comes highly recommended and I have never regretted getting her! -Heike-

heyas; the dragon factory dragons are hmmm... well, both harder and easier to texture than other dragons. each body part is mapped out to the best of my abilities for the least amount of stretching and all, so they're rather easy to paint (in my opinion). the hard part comes trying to match up the various bits; there's no way to tell what scale you should make your scales from one part to the next. considering that you could resize each piece in poser, as well..... it gets a little crazy. :) black canary made some nice square scale patterns to fit the legs and bodies, which are a good base to start from. those are available for download at the dragon factory downloads page. in other news.... now one of these days, i'm going to put this list of free dragons together in some kinda order.... if you look here in free stuff, konan (once upon a time) posted some static prop models of his ultimate dragon, as a sort of preview for the beastie. dd has a wyvern at his page, which i THINK is something like poser.8mm.com. somebody made a fearsome red wyrm something or other, here in the free stuff, which i think is a dragonized raptor. in fact, some bat/dragon wings on the raptor, and it makes a fairly decent dragon. and somewhere (also in the free stuff, i think) somebody stuck some beasties together to make a dragon. the snake and... i dunno what-all. (havent had a chance to open it and take a look yet!)
