You could use TC2 to convert gen 4 textures to gen 3 textures. Be aware that in order to use some of the more advanced gen 4 textures, you will have to convert bump/displacement/specular in seperate passes and apply in the material room, then save as a .mc6 file for future use. Also because of the way the UV maps are done, you may lose some resolution on the body/limbs maps.

Sorry. It is very easy to convert the basic textures between different generations using TC2 (Texture converter 2) from DAZ http://www.daz3d.com/i/3d-models/tc2products?cat=817
as long as you have the appropriate plugins. If you are not doing close upwork, that would normally be sufficient.

Or find a decent skin texture for both models and apply Bagginsbill's VSSProp Skin Shader to enhance the textures. Do a search of the forum, you will find plenty of information regarding how to use it and pictorial results. Now, you did not mention which Poser version you are using, but EZSkin by Snarly will apply similar shaders to your models with excellent results. However, it is tailor made for P9 and PoserPro 2012.
TC2 doesn't convert the gens maps. just thought i mention it in case you're doing nudes.
The wonderful thing about the Mil3 figures, the skin textures fit all of them. You could use a StephaniePetite 3 skin on Michael3 or David3.
set the shading rate to 0 for maximum detail.
Laura3's standard mat has lovely freckles.
Do you have any of the add-on skins for M3/D3?
maybe we can help update the material settings for better results?
this could be a fun project. mingling the older characters with the new.
Also, you might want to check out BB's threads on RDNA about setting up SSS & Blinn in the material room, it helps a lot to make the previous poser version skins look better for the new Poser.

Be careful about suggesting solution, Misty. The OP has not mentioned which Poser version he/she is using. Suggesting a feature which is not supported in earlier versions will only confuse the issue.
@ makis12: In the future, it would help all of us if you state which Poser version you are using. It will make recommendations/suggestions easier without making you search for a feature that does not exist in your particular version.

I downloaded and installed Michael 3 and David for use in poser. However i ve noticed that their body and head textures are not so high detailed as some other figures .Their colour skin is not so good as James,Michael 4 and all the others. The problem is that when you use one of those two in a scene that there is one of the newer figures also you can clearly see the difference. What do you think about that?Is there anything that could make their textures look better?
Thanks
