Subject: Poser and 3D Bridge for Photoshop?
Photoshop CS4+ (Extended) can handle COLLADA, which can be exported by Poser (Pro 2010+ at least).
Stephen Burns did a great book "the Art of Poser and Photoshop" on all this, he demonstrates how CS4 han handle various camera, light and material aspects. Very recommended. From recent reviews I understood that CS6 has various improved functions (bump etc).
Just testing: his website http://www.chromeallusion.com/downloads.html is full of Poser / Photoshop / 3D things.

Many thanks for your replies. All very interesting. The problem is I have Adobe Creative Production Suite CS4 which cost me just under $3000 3 years ago! There are no direct upgrades to CS6 from CS4 without upgrading to CS5 first.This will cost me just over $1000 to do this.I have have been trying DS4 Studio Advanced with a free 3D Bridge export which works OK with CS4. However I prefer to work with Poser.I think Poser is missing the mark by not having the photoshop export to other versions like CS4. Cheers

Glad to hear you like Poser. First time Poser exported 3D to Photoshop was CS3 Extended (Poser 7 SR2). The blog post was about CS6 because it's available at no cost at the moment, and because it really does take 3D integration to the next level (in terms of performance & usability). CS4 reads COLLADA files exported from Poser fine, just not quite as well (it ignores axis orientation specified in the DAE for example, so you need to rotate the figure after importing it). Still very useful, give it a try.
