Subject: Poser Pro2012 Uninstall/Reinstall SR2 to SR1 rollback

MacMyers ( ) posted Fri, 20 April 2012 at 7:54 AM · edited Sun, 01 September 2024 at 3:39 PM

Had to uninstall Poser Pro12 SR2 as it had a bug that messed up the master parameter dials.

Most of My "comes with Poser" Content is missing... James etc....

Anybody know what install file I'm looking for or what I did wrong uninstalling/reinstalling that made it go bye bye?

TIA

There was no need to uninstall. In doing so, I suppose it is possible you uninstalled. Everything.

Normally I just run the original installer and then whatever SR I want. We beta testers have to do this all the time.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

Ah... I just did what SM told me to do. So the content should be with the original installer huh. I'll need to go look at it and see what I screwed up.

Thanks BB

You can install any content installer separately, after the fact.

Please let Tech Support know what specifically wasn't working with master parameter dials

I got an error message on install with all of the "Poserprops.exe" files etc.....

I hunted them down and installed them separately. All is good.
