There is a cool thread at DAZ that visualizes many of the Afro hair sets in the community.

But there was one I found at an on-line gallery...(don't ask because i just don't remember!) which doesn't look familiar.

I love this figure but loved the hair more. Is this something anyone recognizes? What it is and where it might come from would be really appreciated. Gotta have it!

Hm!?

Thanks but not the hair I was looking for.

What happened to my posted image? I included it to show the  hair. I linked it but it is not here.

I try again.

The pic is from an X Rated comic called "Amazon Soul".  Most likely a custom made hair.  Should be easy enough to make.

Bummer. I was hoping to find it in the community as an existing product. I don't know how to create 3D content or I would have made it myself.

Really is a cool hair. Sort of a Lilly Knots and the similar children's hair at DAZ.

Thanks Sam for the info.

Well, I'd make it if I had the time; it's not so hard to do.  For yourself, you could try getting to grips with one of the free modellers available.  There's Wings, Blender and maybe Hexagon if DAZ is still running the offer.  Of all of them, Wings is probably the easiest to get started with.

For a few tips on how to go, since it's for your own use, you could import the head of whatever model you're using to Wings, select the scalp polys and use "Extract" to create the skullcap.  Then, you can add cylinders, which you can bend and twist to get the knots.  Next, you export to a mapping app and UV map it.  Finally, you texture it.

Yeah I know.

The problem is my inability of late to focus long enough to tackle any learning curve. Too much trouble too much depression too many drugs to help fix the problem that is yet unsolved...or may never. Age and inactivity or lack of Life "purpose" don't help either.

If I can'y focus on finishing a book from cover to cover without back tracking to re-read a paragraph or trying to keep track all the characters in the story, I certainly won't be able to focus long enough to learn a REAL 3D application.

I did pick up all the free apps DAZ gave away, but learning them well let's just say...............!  :(
