Subject: Idea's for a scene I want to do

Demon2330 ( ) posted Sat, 26 May 2012 at 6:29 PM · edited Fri, 06 September 2024 at 6:52 PM

Hi everyone ,

It's a sad time for me today , I just spilt up my partner Amy as she has accepted a new Job in another part of the UK , we worked together on a few pieces which are in my gallery.

I Want to do a render on hearbreak and seperation but I have not got a clue on where to start so I am looking for idea's from everyone here.

Cheers

Always look on the positive side of things. Heartbreak and seperation could not occur if there wasn't joy and togetherness, so why not do a render remembering some of the good times.

Sorry for your loss.

As for a scene, it would depend on how sad you are.  A scene with someone staring down the road with a car in the distance, or something like that with a plane, train, or ship.

If you want loss with the potential of no return, someone standing at the foot of a grave would do it.

I tend to shy away from the obvious because too much sentimentality isn't always good for one's art.  The more emotionally involved I am with a subject, the less like me the people in the image need to be to keep me from being overwhelmed by the idea.  In this case, I might choose a superhero as the main "character"... or a robot.

If I were bitter about a breakup, I'd have her walking away, after a hard fight, from an apocalyptic scene far in the distance. ;)

If I wanted to celebrate the opportunity for new beginning, on the other hand, I might have her about to climb into a space craft or other vehicle.

I, also.  My suggestions were meant more as a cathartic exercise than as something to post in the Gallery, but I get what you are saying and agree with it otherwise.

There is a set of poses in the free section called "Where is the Love", by Structure. Those might give you a starting point.

Here's one I did years ago in Poser 4.  It's pretty grim but gets the point across.

You "split up" your partner?  Did you use an axe?

I hope things work fine for you. Just because she moved doesn't mean it ended for good, hopefully!

If I were you, I would try to see the bright side and think about a new beginning :)
