Why am i getting this message, and how can i solve this?...

Are you installing to Poser or DS? It looks like it can't find a DS specific file to me. Are you using a DS installer or a Poser installer?

I am installing to Poser Pro 2012 using a DS BitRock installer.

Installers are buggy and cannot find dzinstall.ini - it says that it can't find it. Read it.

Then search this forum - there are at least 20 threads explaining how to work around the problem.

You create the file it says is missing - problem solved.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

yeah, just make an empty text file and name it dzInstall.ini. Easy ;).
