Thanks Frank --- I know on a flightsim site I belonged to they had nothing but Flight Sim Stuff related.  It meant you had a virus or something --- but makes sense to me.  I know I did a scan recently and had nothing 😄

I use Firefox RIP addon. I block banners that I don't want to see.  Between that and the AdBlock Plus, I pretty much only see ads for the MP here.

I use Firefox as well.  Where do you get the RIP add on?  I'd love to have that! 😄

The Remove it Permanently addon for FireFox can be found here.

I know lots of sites that say they need ad views to pay the bills, but unless they serve the ads from their own servers, I block them, due the tendency of third-party ad serving companies to get hacked or serve up malware-laden ads. My computer not being messed up is much more important to me than you paying bills using an out-of-date marketing schtick.

I especially don't feel bad about it here (or any site with a store), since I buy stuff from the marketplace.

I just block the social junk like Twatter and Farcebook ;). I hate those things.

The nice thing about RIP is that it removes entire frames, so even the embedded banners etc are removed along with it.

WOW, I am not alone after all, I thought it was just me being anti-social.

I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 -  Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB  storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU .   The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.

Nah not antisocial....lol. I guess it's ok for young ppl but at my age I don't care to announce what I'm doing this particular minute. No one cares what I'm doing - especially me..lolol. Plus I'm creeped out about all the things that can track you around the net these days. I'd sort of like to keep my privacy...lol.

There's social and then there's ridiculous.

Most of the stuff bores me anyway. I don't care what my horoscope is or how to play Farmville or what my sister in law is cooking for dinner or whether or not someone sends me a heart or a fairy for gawd's sake ;) That stuff makes me gag.
