Subject: Inverse Kinematics and locking ones keyframes

I haven't animated in Poser in a long time but I kind of remember that in order to lock your graph so it wouldn't change when turning IK off you had to select your animation in the dopesheet, fill it with keyframes and then change the interpolation to linear and after doing this you could turn IK off to animate with FK and it wouldn't mess up your keys.  Now I tried to do this today withPoser Pro 2012 but it did mess up my animation.  So either I don't remember how to do this or something was changed in Poser.

Hi My personal experience has been that IK is an "all or nothing "choice
I have tried every combination of Spline breaks,"Hold Frames" and Interpolation methods
I could imagine and the frustrating result was the always same ,
use of IK early in the animation will make the rest you my sequence unusable
and my animation will be ruined from any point afterwards
and this is with poser 6!!

If you find a solution...please share.

Thanks for the response wolf359. I remember when I did my Freak Wrestling Moves I animated in Poser with IK but when switching back to FK used the above technique to minimize messing up my keyframes.  I have tried with the DAZ dragon but besides the technique not being as effective as with the Freak 3 I'm finding that when saving a PZ2 animated pose and loading it to a default dragon it makes its hands and feet fly away.

My sub-dragon also doesn't have IK, I've tried re-installing it but Poser still doesn't shows an IK option.  The sub-dragon shows IK in DAZ Studio though.  Can anyone confirm that the dragon does have IK in Poser?
