For the last few days after seeing some of the new fall fashions showing houndstooth patterns as the new textures for fall clothing I decided to do one for a suit. I have played with PoserWorlds bizsuitfem and Iso's Microsuit as well as Two-Swords Chanel suit til I am crazy. Each one had terrible mapping for a repeating pattern, so me and UVmapper have been going around in circles on remapping of the sleeves. I finally got one that looks pretty much ok for Iso's Microsuit, but I need some feedback. It is by no means perfect but tell me if it is worth all the headaches, meaning would anyone use it? I have also done textures for some of the free handbags out there as well.

BTW it will be a free texture.

I think it looks incredible. It really must have been a hair-puller to avoid stretching in the pattern. I would definitely use it. Phoenix

Ditto here. Only you can decide if the results were worth the effort you put in, but I can tell you it's definitely a texture that will be wanted by many. Nice Work!

I think you did a wonderful job. I am sure people would want it. Sharen

There is still a little bit of stretching on top the shoulders but I could not find a way of remapping to include that, then match the texture of the front. So careful posing may be required. I will put it up with a cr2 file and the uvs for the new map and textures later today. Thanks for the responses. I will continue to work on the other suits and see if I can finally get them to work as well.

WOW! It looks fabulous to me. Any stretching on it is minor at best. I love it!

My classic interview suit is houndstooth (worn with a pink blouse). I haven't had to wear it in 20 years, but it got me a better-paying job when I needed it. There are times when a lady needs a bit of tailoring to look her best, and our Poser ladies are no exception. Thank you for all the hard work, Carolly

I don't usually comment, but the quality of your render struck me as soon as the message opened! I can only say this is an excellent texture. You have done an excellent job of a very hard subject!

I think this is an absolutely beautiful texture! As one who has recently started spending a bit of time with Poser it's difficult to find clothing for people who aren't out slaying dragons or dining with the gods on Mt. Olympus. In some of the renderings I have done at work using AutoCad and Lightscape, It's nice to drop some occasional well dressed folks (tunics at the office are only good on casual Fridays). Excellent work---are you considering a line of Fall Dress Clothes?

There will be a little delay in having them ready to download. I finished Iso's microsuit and am working on the Chanel suit of Two Swords now. To djthomas: I really haven't thought of any others as yet. My texturing ideas generally come in spurts. I know what you mean about the clothes. Sometimes you just need some normal stuff that your momma would not be ashamed to see you rendering in Poser. w

It's a great texture. BTW, everyone has probably figured this out, but you can trans out the skirt and have a wonderful business blazer so Vicki can finally afford all of her clothing. ;-)

WOW, that's fantastic. I'm pretty shure my wife would like it.BTW: me too. But i wouldn't show it to her, because then she will start to play with poser just about the fashions. Means lesser poser-time for me. LOL. I've never seen a texture with such small squares which fits better on a mesh. That's really outstanding. SHARKEY
