Ok, Ok so my computer blew up most of my files were fragged. I have been spending most of this time rebuilding. I am now putting together a AMD 1.4 GHz that should be a render monster. So I am sorry this took so long but I really had no choice. Please let me know what you think and be nice or I will find other ways of making blood in the water . Vile

Wow, that really doesn't look as realistic as your previous blood render (in my previous topic). Maybe it was b/c it was darker and not anti-aliased. Regardless, it's still an excellent tutorial and will come in handy. Thanks for your time and sorry about your PC. ~JKS

your right but I assure you that is how it was made. I wanted to quickly get the tut up so the lighting is alot different and the diffussion is a little lighter. Now the original setup for this was fried hehe so I hope this works...give it a shot and let me see the results

Hiya I do have one suggestion: put a link on the page to your main site so that once people see it, they can nose around a bit. sorry to hear about your computer...been there, done that. later BT fyi: I added this to the Brycetech "help site" links...

Ok, did all that...But I'm still getting the same results as in my previous topic... http://communities.msn.com/_Secure/0NABUQbQS2uTY2DrUVrNSX9Z4VIpCrceMPysvwQ6DUgMA1xbIrYxuSrnmI5AD3MUY85DJtOnkiwEcq0LksuBw/blood1.jpg Notice how the transparency didnt go through?...That is whats goin on...And I cant figure out how to get rid of it... Note: this was done all inside of a box w/ a water texture to it, added quite a few radial lights (also, this still happens when I do every other method of underwater)... thanks for any help

So I took so long but I was still have problems getting my network back up. Try playing with the colors of the ambience and diffusion to match your back ground color. i.e. blue in my case I had to play around with them several times till that did not show up. I am going to ask the group on this one as well because I have 2D objects with a transmap that shows strange effects like this.
