Yep, spend week in northern parts of our country and now back for business. This pic was totally surprise for me, did not know it would work so well. It was almost complete dark, I shooted on one roll with different shutter speeds. Cam laying in top of my camera bag. I dig this. Oh, and small color enchantment with photoshop. Minolta AF7000, AF30, shutter speed about 30s. .n

Dear Antoonio, welcome back...and you've came back with very, very good..! I'm looking for minutes and minutes, and do not seem to be bored any time soon..! Those motion-blurred trees...the silhouettes of the people...the fireworks themselves...the evening sky...the housing settlement in the far...colors of them all...dynamic positioning of them all in the composition... ...Everything is so very fine and joyous to me..! Congratulations... :)

Doruksai, ..actually, those trees are not blurred, it was the wind and long shutter speed. Thanks for nice words. :o) And Alpha, I agree you with that. ..must shoot these night time pics more.. .n

Pretty pretty pretty! What was the occasion?

It was Finlands yearly fireworks competition. There are three competitors and who wins, can lit the sky in new years night. And recieve big bucket of hard cash too. And in the same time, it's memorial for German bombardings and for people who died there. .n
