I just installed Windows XP. As my first Poser test I attempted to render a scene with StefyZZ's Noa, Asia and Catharina P.'s Kain in the same scene. In Windows Me this locked up Poser everytime. See attached :)

Hi, I was wondering if you could give us a little more info. Was this XP Professional or XP Home? How much memory does your system have and what cpu/speed does it use? I'm curious because I don't care for Me and 2000 does not run all the software I want to run. So, I'm back to Win98se but I understand that that It does not use memory over 256. I want to increase my RAM but its pointless until I change my OS. Thanks, Thorgrim

XP Pro (it's the only version that MS released in their preview program) 448 Megs RAM PIII 800 mhz. I had the same problems as most people who complained in the many other threads on this topic. There were some compatibility issues with Norton AntiVirus; for example WinXP would run the NT version but not the old win 98/ME version. New Norton version supports everything..

Here is Vicky2 Daz's high rez texture. This used to regularly lock up with WinME

I just installed Windows 2000 Profesional with NT technologic. It is so fast, I think first I change my computer but now with new system the Pentium III 733Mhz work so fast and never crash again. I read about Windows XP . The new XP is like Mac but with PC system. BTW nice rendering namaja1955!
