Subject: error parenting eyes to a mesh

I have made my first character. the only problem I am having is trying to parent the eyes to the main body. the eyes have has 4 saperat part to it. when I try to parent it, it give me an error (Loop in parents) I dont know what this means. can someone tell me what I am doing wrong.

I would like to suggest that you use the eyeball as the parent of all parts of the eye, then make the body as the parent of the eyeball.  It should solve your problem.
