@ Henk: We do have one of those maps, but we haven't been using it. When we travel it isn't usually a lot of miles! We like to take our time. Camp four or five days, then drive 40 miles to the next campground. :) So far we've had the motorhome in Washington, Oregon, California and Arizona. The other trips we've taken were in the car. We still have our house, but spend most of the summer in the motorhome in a local campground, just for the fun of it! :) I've seen those maps, though, and it truly is impressive to see someone with most of the states filled in!

Impressing textures uploads are running around here for my eyes :)
Now I know there is an 'Ed', making wonderful captures,
and knowing Tara has a lovely colored quilt, which floated a time in the air, before landing here in this challenge', LOL!
Arturo really impressed me again with his chenut-textures. Marvelous!
Oh, and all those glasses from Helle, they are such a stunning find.
It makes me so curious, to fantasize about what people might once one of these glasses wear on his or her nose.
Wishing you all a great weekend!
Mies-Jacomina.
EVERYONE!!! What amazing images! I have once again stopped getting ebots for the challenge thread.... And I am so busy with other things that if I do not get nudged by an ebot, I forget to pop in!
Wow - so many wonderful textures posted since I last popped in! I will have to do something myself again! :)

Well Helle, a pigeon is a dove too, right? We here have just one name for it.
Oh Carin, I would love to see this picture in a larger version, it is so GREAT, full of colors and lovely and special textures. Do you have this one in your galery ?(if I may ask this?)
Lol about Tara's jeans, I miss your legs, dear friend.
Did you forgot them on your hollday?
Anyway : Great idea and textures, just perfect!
Oh dear, I now see I missed the stunning uploads of Clive and Dana.
The beautiful snail, and the lampion.
Strange, here they have an orange color, how is it that yours became such lovely white, Clive?
Your rust is amazing looking, Dana.
And I always admire the textures on your fantastic landscape shots in your galery.
They are looking as great adventures and freedom, with so much space around them.
Love the denim Tara! Oh how I wish I could be there with you guys!
Jacomina, I do not have this specific one in my gallery... There are other croc images though!

They're Bill's denim shorts, but of course he wasn't in them at the time! He'd left them neatly folded on the bed, but I rearranged them to be more photogenic. :P I have no idea where he was or what he was wearing in lieu of his favorite shorts! :D

I hate to speculate what he was wearing Tara!!!
Maybe his flip-flops???

Love those rocks, Arturo, and the little friend! :)
@ "the girls" : Bill isn't likely to blush. He loves attention! He isn't reading this thread, but I'll tell him about it when he gets back from running his errands. (He WAS wearing those shorts when he left this morning, btw! LOL!) He'll get a kick out of it that we're talking about his socks! :P

Arturo = those little rocks are awesome! You just gave me an idea for my second shot this week!
Helle - thank you! I'm glad you didn't actually say the croc was beautiful... I did giggle at your sense of humor!
Tara - keep us posted on the socks! :D

Hi Arturo, a most beautiful colored texture shot you've posted here.
Actually I had the same idea as Helle***, that your textures are showing a lot of jewelery, and I think a crab can be seen on it too.
*** that is the one who can not stop typing on her computer, even though she has such a large collection of glasses, she has to identify the letter 'piece by piece'.
Just kidding of course.
Wishing you all a lovely weekend!

I simply Love that stone, Carin.
Many years back we were on a holiday in the north of sweeden and a few kilometers into Norway and in the forests, there were many places with mosses and PLENTY of stones like that. I was totally amazed by the beauties of them, just like I am with this one :) Unfortunately they hadnt invented a digital Camera yet and my poor little konica pop didnt give very good shots.
Namibia is beautiful in both its vastness and its details. What a beautiful stone, with such a variety of life! The textures are wonderful. :)
Right now Bill is wearing short white socks. He's about to put on sturdy lace-up shoes over them and go out and work on the wall. :D
