Hi, I'd like to make a material pose for catsuits, so you can change the texture without having to load a new suit or mess around with the materials editor. Can somebody explain the simplest way to do this? Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it. Davo

make a cr2 with just the catsuit the way you want it. your textures need to be located within poser... preferably in some sub folder of the runtime/texture folder. hack the cr2... see syyd raven's excellent tutorial... there's a link to her site on the left of every Renderosity page. save your hacked cr2 as a pp2 and your set. note: Poser Pro dosent use bum files... so when I make mine make duplicates... one for PPP and one for Poser 4. (the PPP refers to jpgs... the Poser 4 refers to .bum files)

I do it one simpler. I keep a blank MATpose file as a template then just copy and paste the materials from the cr2 into the MATpose and save it as a new file. It takes less time.

Good idea Jeff! the new MK sript comes in handy too... ;) But I don't think Davo has Poser Pro.

I have about 70 Mat files for the catsuit. If you're interested I could e-mail them to you.

Thanks Grey cat, if you could send me one to take a look at what it looks like, that would be great and very appreciated. I am working on 4 different custom catsuit textures for all the figures (Vicky, Mike, p4nudeman and p4fem). I was planning on supplying each suit in cr2 and rsr format, but a friend suggested mat pose files, I think that would be the simplest way to go. thanks for the offer and my email is beyondbent@home.com Davo

Davo: Poser Pro works very well as far as I use it. For exporting to other applications I am not too sure because I do not have those applications.

Simplest: let CR2Edit make them for you. Dan http://www.zenwareonline.com/cr2edit/cr2edit.html Sorry Win only for software http://www.zenwareonline.com for ZenPaint, ZenTile, ZenGrid and VueMaster
