Subject: Magnetize Naika V4 problem

mr_phoenyxx ( ) posted Wed, 25 July 2012 at 9:23 PM · edited Tue, 24 December 2024 at 6:31 AM

So I'm working on a scene with 2 Victoria 4 models in it, and both have Naika V4 from kaposer added to them:

http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=78502

I can't seem to magnetize clothing to the second model however. There is a magnetize pose that comes with Naika and it works perfectly on the first model. It just seems to do nothing on the second model.

Even if I save the models independantly, create a new scene, and then load the models into the new scene one at a time; the magnetize pose will only work on whichever model that I load first.

Any help would be appreciated.

in the pose folder for V4 there are several named magnetise files. They are to deal with multiple v4 in a scene by using the figure number.

Thank you for the hint, but those don't work either.

We got it figured out.

You have to load the figure into a blank scene. Load all the clothing and props you want. Inject Naika V 4, and then magnetize everything. Then save the whole group.

Repeat this with the second figure.

Now you can load either into a scene and the clothing is already magnetized.

Thanks for letting us know how you fixed it. It may end up being very helpful to someone searching the threads later for a solution.

Yes! Thanks-I've run into that issue myself with other characters

You are very welcome. :)

I figured I couldn't be the only one, which is exactly why I posted how I overcame the issue. Kaposer really deserves the credit though. I posted the same question on his forum and he is the one that suggested the above solution. I tested it, and it appears to work perfectly.
